MOORES LAW
a performance by Marcelino Martin Valiente
PROJECT UNDER CONSTRUCTION
The discovery of skulls on a construction site, an Algerian immigrant who returns suddenly to his country, massacres committed by islamists, a lost son, a love affair with a beautiful african refugee who become an actress at the Oslo nationaltheatre, a physics experiment, an anthropological theory, a nightmare that keeps coming up, an exhibition of Van Gogh, a broken career, the skeleton of Richard the third; These are the elements of a puzzle that the two characters of the play mix together attempting to explain their inhumane acts. An effort of recollection which also becomes an act of falsification.
HER
A situation?
HIM
Yes I’m sitting here while amazing things
Happen around me
Human bones
An accident
Terrorists
An international situation of shit
And I
There
Who does nothing
HER
But what could you have done?
HIM
Today we can’t say that we can do nothing
We can’t do as if we did not know
We dispose about everything to know
Everything to be informed
Nobody is separate from nobody
We are all in contact
Connected
Tight
Obliged to support each other
To know each other… »
